URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 627 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 745 PM CDT Sat Oct 18 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southeast Arkansas Northeast Louisiana Central and Southern Mississippi * Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 745 PM until 300 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible SUMMARY...Increasing low-level moisture and strengthening low-level winds this evening will support the potential for supercells capable of a tornado in addition to the potential for damaging winds/some hail. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles east and west of a line from 30 miles north northwest of Greenwood MS to 15 miles south southeast of Natchez MS.
