A severe threat is not expected to develop across the continental U.S. today and tonight. ...Synopsis... An upper ridge will be centered over the ArkLaTex and Lower MS Valley regions today. Upper lows will affect the southwest and southeast states, where scattered afternoon/evening thunderstorms will occur. Relatively weak CAPE/shear parameters will likely preclude any organized severe storms.
