A mid-level trough will eject into the Atlantic on Monday, resulting in widespread surface high pressure and an accompanying polar airmass to overspread the CONUS, diminishing thunderstorm potential. A surface cold front will sweep across the central and southern FL Peninsula Monday morning and afternoon.
